Dream House: The Kitchen

My house is structured with one big open space that comprehends the kitchen, the living room and a big window that goes to the balcony. I can say for sure it's one of my very favorite spaces in the house. Me, my family and friends spend most of the time here, for dinners and 5pm afternoon tea; plus it's the place where I cook everything you see on my blog. I wanted to share with you guys some inspirational pictures I picked to have new ideas for my dream house.

Velvet and leather for autumn/winter and cotton and silk for spring/summer, we're talking about the beautiful one-piece-only jumpsuits. Wear it with a big blazer and heels or a printed shirt and flat shoes (maybe slipepers?) to make a casual-chic look! Love it or hate it?
Happy sunday! xx

Everyday Life Jewelry

[Tennis bracelet]

I don't know about you but to me when it's about everyday life jewelry I need it to be small and comfortable. I tried several times to wear big bracelets and rings during day time but I always end up playing with them and taking them off after a few hours... So I practically have on the same 6-7 pieces of jewelry, my favorite ones I guess. Tiny earrings, classic bracelets and simple (and long sometimes) necklaces. How do you feel about everyday life jewelry?

Smoothie Detox

Here we are with one good Smoothie detox recipe I found while reading Elle! I don't know about you but I had a really no-stop week so I decided to refresh and start a new healthy (for real) week. Kiwis are source of vitamin C and E, grapefruit has antioxidants and ginger removes toxins, so what are you waiting for?!
Happy Sunday xx

The Collage Book - PART FIVE

DOCUMENTARIES(beacause you never know enough):
LAGERFELD CONFIDENTIALS: an access-all-areas movie that lifts the curtain on the court of King Lagerfeld and his too-cool-for-school courtiers. 'I love change. I'm attached to nothing,' says Lagerfeld - the perfect poster boy for fashion.
VALENTINO: THE LAST EMPEROR: a touching portrait that chronicles the longtime love affair (and occasional tetchiness) between Valentino Garavani and his business partner Giancarlo Giammetti.
MARC JACOBS & LOUIS VUITTON: '"importat" and "fashion" shouldn't be used in the same sentence,' says Jacobs in Loic Prigent's TV documentary, which follows the designer, via intimate atelier repartee and Studio 54-style partying.
UNZIPPED: ISAAC MIZRAHI: the most elucidating film about making a collection. 'Everything is frustrating except designing clothes,' says Mizrahi to his (then) boyfriend behind the camera. 'Even when it sucks, it's worth it.'
FASHION READS(on the beach):
EXCESS:FASHION AND THE UNDERGROUND IN THE 80'S:  a book that makes intelligent sense of the Eighties, with razor-sharp essays on punk, New Romantic and overblown power dressing.
THE GLASS OF FASHION: an elegant and essential take on the trendsetters of the 20th century, from Poiret to Garbo.
DV: where truth begins and ends in the memoir is unclear, but Vreeland's curt and fabulous name-dropping has set the fashion tone ever since.
THE OSSIE CLARK DIARIES: people say if you remember the Sixties you weren't there - perhaps those people with Clark hadn't recorded quite so much, so clearly in his waspish diaries.
FILMS(on a Monday night):
Days of Heaven - Eyes of Laura Mars - The rose Tatoo - Last year at Marienbad - They shoot horses, don't they?

Sweet Mexican Quesadilla

I spent most of this weekend studying for my Microeconomics exam, (so much fun boring) but I did find a way to sparkle my day by making one of my very favourite Mexican dessert: sweet Quesadilla. It's really light and great for morning breakfasts!

Soo... Ready?
Sift rice flour (100gr) with yeast (1 tea spoon). Beat together butter (100gr) and sugar (120gr) until the mixture becomes nice and creamy; add one egg at a time (3 eggs in total) then flour+yeast, ricotta cheese (100gr) and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Mix everything until it's smooth. Add sour cream (80gr) and grated quartirolo cheese (120gr). Stir it, put it on a baking tray and sprinkle it all around with sesame! Cook sweet Quesadilla in the oven 180° for 20-30 minutes!
