[What] I like

Hello beauties,
I'm here today to share with you all one of my current passions: home design - but wait not the usual one. I like when home design is not a truduction of perfection but the real Home (with the capital letter, yes). I love houses full of memories, pictures and objects from all over the world. Do you get me? Here's a composition of things I really like atm!

New York Cheesecake

The cheesecake, tipical treat of the Big Apple, has some really ancient origins. The ancient Greeks from Delòs island used to prepare cakes with fresh cheese for the athletes during the first olimpic games in the history. Afterwords in the 1800 James Kraft, an American milkman, while trying to imitate a French cheese created by mistake the Philadelphia, one of the very main ingredients of the cheesecake! Even if you're not big cheese lover (like me) after making a cheesecake you'll definitely change your mind! The recipe is easy and you are then free to choose the fruit topping you prefer.

Spring, my beloved!

[Twin-set by Simona Barbieri dress; Bershka jeans jacket; Superga with swarowski shoes]

Happy first day of spring everyone!

For this outfit I got inspired from the cover of the book "One day" by David Nicholls (totally suggested) that I have already showed you here. Emma, the girl - while kissing Dexter - is wearing a white dress, a jeans jacket and a pair of Dr Martens; it's the kind of look I love: messy but feminine at the same time! What do you think? Tc xx

Tc xx

Fuji Me

For those who keep track of my tweets (aka CRAP) on Twitter or liked my Facebook page this is nothing new; in fact as I said yesterday I worked on a new outfit post. This is a little Fuji preview of what's gonna come next here on Pret-à-Penser. I have to admit my friend and I had fun taking snapshots while shooting. I LOVE THEM. They are not exceptionally beautiful or anything but Fuji polaroids are definitely unexpected, you never know what's gonna come out of the camera: if a blurry picture, sunset colors or the light totally covering your face lol.

Items, Moments, Feelings - PART TWENTYONE

[After two months of designing my personal cards with the help of a great graphic designer here they finally are!]

Hello folks, the week just started and I already have to do a hundred things. But still here's my daily post about three items, moments and feelings which made me especially happy during the last weeks. xx, Veronique!

My living room is Marni for H&M

Hello hello hello! A quick post: My living room is Marni for h&m to show you my picks from the so wanted collection + a post with some outfits really soon! Tc ;)

Everyday Life Memories

1. Tie or bow tie? I'd definitely pick the bow tie - it's so much more elegant. Don't you think?
2. When I think about origami I think about the beauty of chinese women wearing kimonos (God knows why). So here my Origami Love Hearts.
3. Two of the things really excited me this month: Sportmax fashion show + "One day" by David Nicholls. Sportmax was definitely one of my favourite shows during Milan Fashion Week and well I wished many times that the novel by David Nicholls never came to an end. If you are in the mood to read a great love story, this is your book (not your movie).
4. Leone candys, for when I'm running around the city and I desperately need a sweet moment. Always in my bag!
5. Chanel earrings - I got them one year ago at a charity sale - so tiny and pretty, they're a piece of art.
6. Diane Von Furstenberg note book is great for last minute inspiration and notes + Pendant

7. Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux Quatuor - even though I'm not a big fan of eye shadow make up I promised myself I'd have tried this beautiful make up trousse
8. Kodak Instamatic 200: a piece of history from th
e 60's. I got it for my 7th birthday from my grandmother and I found it last week after many years - when I went to the camera shop to ask for film for it the dude laughed at me as if I was asking for a dinosaur.

Love Heart Cupcakes!

I wish I could send one to each of you;)
have a great tuesday! xx
