I discovered this beautiful brand and her creator, Jenny, while flipping through Grazia and Harper's Bazaar issues and it didn't take me one second to realize something really good would have came out!

Here's a little interview with Jenny:
1) When have you started Dark Horse?
I started Dark Horse in 2010, launching with my first Spring Collection. I make collections biannually and I am now in my 5th season!

2) Why Dark Horse? Is there any special connection to the name?
Because I work primarily in leather I wanted to convey the equestrian/saddlery connection as I promote traditional techniques with a quirky heritage......but I also wanted a brand name that was something enigmatic and a little bit edgy!

3)Where do you get your inspiration from?
Everywhere! But nature always features strongly, as does rock & roll and a lifelong love of textiles.

4)How important is jewelry to you in everyday outfits?
Essential - I don't feel complete without an accessory or two. The right piece can transform the most basic of outfits into something extraordinary.

When it's about patisserie and appetizer I'm always for finger food and little treats. They're easy to eat and extremely chic, don't you reckon?

Traendo ispirazione dai grandi classici della moda femminile li ha re-interpretati in chiave rock, di chi stiamo parlando? Massimo Giorgetti ovviamente, creatore della linea MSGM.  Come in una sinfonia di Beethoven stampe, colori, tagli e tessuti creano armonie e disaccordi dando vita a qualcosa di originale all'ennesima potenza. Protagoniste principali sono le rose, che si ingrandiscono in maxi disegni astratti per poi formare una cascata di petali dai verdi intensi e arancioni accesi. Giorgetti veste una donna metropolita, sicura di sé, frizzante e incurante del giudizio altrui ed è proprio per questo tipo di donna che crea accostamenti inusuali caratterizzati da gonne voluminose, fiocchi bon ton e tailleur retrò. Le righe rugby dopo essere state il motivo conduttore del 2009 ritornano trionfanti su pellicce fluorescenti e t-shirt. Sono tutti statement pieces, che farebbero sentire ogni donna un po' più speciale. Dai manicotti rosso Valentino alle classiche decolté nere, ai pantaloni a sigaretta blu royal fino alle candide camicette in pizzo, tutto fa pensare alla vecchia Manhattan di Carrie Bradshaw e alla moderna Londra di Alexa Chung.  Con questa pre-collezione possiamo affermare che il giovane stilista abbia raggiunto il suo obiettivo: creare una moda "amazing, stupefacente". Massimo Giorgetti of course, creator of MSGM.  Like in a Beethoven symphony prints, colors, shapes and patterns create harmony giving birth to something really special. The main protagonist are roses - midi and maxi - they become a waterfall of green and orange petals. Giorgetti dresses a metropolitan and self confident woman. And it's for this kind of woman that the designer creates unusual combinations characterized by maxi skirts, bon ton bows and retrò tailleurs. Rugby lines, after being the main protagonist in 2009, come back on fluo furs and t-shirts. They are all statement pieces that can make any woman feel more special; from red Valentino muffs to classic black decolté, from blue royal pants to white lace shirts, everything makes me think about the old Manhattan of Carrie Bradshaw and the modern London of Alexa Chung.  With this pre-fall we can say that the young stylist got to his goal: make an "amazing, stupefacente" fashion.

D.I.Y Ancient Key Nacklace

Last summer while enjoying the sun of Key West I met the girl that inspired me for this DIY; she was collecting ancient keys, every kind of keys, big, small, even broken ones to make them become necklaces. I tried to remember the design many times during these months but I couldn't, so I tried to do it my way... and well this is the result!

I used: thread, jewels beads and some ancient keys I found.
It's easy and it really (really) takes 10 minutes.

La scorsa estate sotto il sole di Key West ho incontrato una ragazza che mi ha ispirato per questo DIY; stava collezionando chiavi antiche di ogni tipo per trasformarle in collane. Ho provato moltissime volte a ricordarmi come fossero fatte esattamente ma è il vuoto più totale, quindi ho provato a farle a modo mio... ecco a voi il risultato!

Ho usato: filo di rame sottile, perline e delle chiavi antiche che ho trovato.
E' molto facile e ci vogliono davvero 10 minuti.
