Fun in a Vintage Blazer

Do you remember when I told you in the previous post I was wearing my grandmother vintage dress? Well I'm still wearing that dress (too beautiful to take it off) but this time the protagonist is (drum roll) is my Pierre Bogdan blazer. I got it in Paris at Chezel's, which is a beautiful vintage shop that I discoved thank to Garance Dorè and her friend Lauren's Paris hot spot guide :)

Vi ricordate quando nell'ultimo post ho accennato al vestito vintage di mia nonna?
Beh in queste foto lo sto ancora indossando (troppo bello per toglierlo) ma questa volta il protagonista è (rullo di tamburi) la mia giacca firmata Pierre Bogdan. L'ho comprata a Parigi da Chezel, un negozio di abbigliamento vintage che ho scoperto grazie a Garance Dorè e alla sua guida alla scoperta di Parigi.

Elita Sunday Park

A couple of weeks ago I went to this lovely market place in Milan called Elita Sunday Park. There is practically everything you need: vintage clothes, every kind of accessory, shoes, manicure, brunch and more so I definitely suggest it(if you're gonna be here around of course)! Un paio di settimane da sono stata ad un mercatino a Milano chiamato Elita Sunday Park. C'è praticamente tutto di quello di cui potete aver bisogno: vestiti vintage, accessori di ogni tipo, scarpe, manicure, brunch e molto altro quindi lo suggerisco caldamente! Ecco qui un piccolo reportage fotografico di quello che potete trovare o, nel caso in cui non siate nei paraggi, qualcosa da cui trarre ispirazione.

D.I.Y.: Studded Collar

Chocolate Macaron(s)

I have to admit that after my Macarons failure more than one month ago I didn't feel much like cooking; but when my boyfriend tried to fix this "bad cooking situation" giving me Ladurée dessert book I quickly got back on track. Yesterday I decided to spend all morning making Chocolate Macarons, yes, again. Following step by step Ladurée's recipe they couldn't come out better. Finally the biscuits didn't break and the icing was soft enough!

Devo ammettere che dopo il primo tentativo, fallito, di cucinare i macaron più di un mese mi era un po' passata la voglia di cucinare; ma quando il mio ragazzo ha cercato di porre rimedio a questo mio atteggiamento negativo sulla cucina regalandomi il libro dei dessert firmato Ladurée mi sono ripresa velocemente. Così ieri ho dedicato tutta la mattina a riprovare a cucinare in tutta serenità i Macarons al Ciocolato. Seguendo passo dopo passo la ricetta Ladurée non sarebbero potuti venire meglio. Finalmente i biscotti non si sono rotti durante la cottura e la glassa è venuta della giusta consistenza!

Birthday Girl

ok, ok, ok I didn't wanna leave you just with my Collage Book but more important stuff like MY BIRTHDAY made time fly away and I didn't have any chance to show you more!
There's something really special in birthdays I suppose because I always feel so damn happy on December 13th; maybe it's the extremely special feeling I have in my body once a year, I don't know...
How I celebrated?        Besides the delicious breakfast with my family I organized a Manicure + Happy Hour Party in the evening in company of my very best girls. The duo "Manicure + Happy Hour" came to me two days before turning 19; I was in a rush while calling each of my favourite restaurants and cafès when this unsual idea came up to my mind. The girls coudn't be happier for getting free manicure while drinking Bellinis... What about me? Well, I loved it.
