Tiramisù - step by step

During these winter cold afternoons I really just feel like cooking and wearing warm cashmere sweaters(fashionable or not it doesn't matter) with a cup of hot tea next to me. But still winter and time changing didn't stop me from organizing a just girls dinner at my place and expleriment something new to me: tiramisù. Here you can find the recipe. Durante questi caldi pomeriggi invernali ho solo voglia di cucinare e di mettermi caldi maglioni di cashmere (chic o no non importa tanto) con una tazza di tè caldo sempre di fianco a me. Ma neanche l'inverno e il cambio dell'ora mi hanno fermato dall'organizzare una cena per sole donne a casa mia e provare qualcosa che non avevo mai provato: il tiramisù. Qui potete trovare la ricetta. Items, Moments, Feelings - Part FOURTEEN

[During my shopping in Cardiff I found this beautiful (and cheap) gold sweater + A cute pink heart hook]

[Do you remember when I told you about re-inventing pieces? And about last year cycle shorts trend? If you know what I'm talking about then you have just to do 2+2: I wore DOUBLE SHORTS. In fact I put together these leather shorts (that I have already wore during several occasions) and a pair of black cycle shorts with lace details, what do you think? Double shorts yes or no?]
[Vi ricordate quando ho parlato di re-inventare i capi? E del trend dell'anno scorso sui pantaloncini da ciclista? Se sapete di cosa sto parlando dovete fare solo 2+2: ho scelto di indossare DOPPI CALZONCINI. Ho messo insieme i pantaloncini neri di pelle(che ho già indossato in molte occasioni) e un paio di pantaloncini da ciclista neri con dettagli in pizzo, cosa ne pensate? E' un sì o un no?]

I missed my brother so I took a plane

Where to? Cardiff, where my brother is studying chiropractic so I took the chance to go there and spend some time with him before exams. It's been a great week-end and I really could not ask for any better laughs, walks and dinners together(but don't tell him). Here's some of it:)

Verso quale direzione? Cardiff, dove mio fratello sta studiando chiropratica quindi ho colto l'occasione per fare una vacanza e passare un po' di tempo con lui prima dell'inizio degli esami. E' stato un week-end fantastico e non avrei potuto desiderare risa, passeggiate e cene migliori(ma non diteglielo). Eccone una piccola parte:)

Re-invent: Shirt over Dress

[Versace shirt; H&M dress]

Reinvention is the key. It's easy buying new items everyday and filling up your closet until it's about to explode, what's more difficult? Re-invent what you already own. I decided to go for the "shirt over dress style"; in my opinion it's a great option, what do you think? I wore an old tight Versace shirt over my classic pale pink H&M dress (already seen here).

Re-inverntarsi è la chiave. E' facile comprare ogni giorno qualcosa di nuovo e riempire il proprio armadio fino alla possibile esplosione, cos'è più difficile? Re-inventare quello che si possiede già. E' per questo che ho optato per lo stile "shirt over dress"; secondo me è un'ottima soluzione, cosa ne pensate? Ho indossato una vecchia maglietta aderente firmata Versace sopra a un classico vestito rosa pallido di H&M(che avete già visto qui).

How To: Knitted Bracelet

Here's my very first "How To" project, hopefully the instructions will be clear enough. It takes a little bit of time but the result won't disappoint you I promise!

White Chocolate + Strawberry Muffin

On sunday morning I woke up and I really wanted to prepare something special to start the week with the right foot. So... White chocolate and strawberry muffins looked like a great choice. 

It would be beautiful just telling you that everything went perfectly fine but it would be too easy too; the crumble was the issue. It didn't come out crunchy enough so I ended up modifying the original recipe. If you have any suggestions about how to make a perfect crumble don't hesitate!:)

Quando mi sono svegliata domenica mattina ho voluto preparare qualcosa di speciale per iniziare con il piede giusto la settimana. Beh i muffin al cioccolato bianco e fragole sono sembrati un'ottima scelta.

Sarebbe fantastico (ma allo stesso tempo troppo facile) dirvi che durante la preparazione è andato tutto come previsto; il problema è stato cucinare il crumble. Non è venuto croccante come avrebbe dovuto quindi mi sono ritrovata col modificare la ricetta originale. Se avete qualche ricetta segreta per fare il crumble non esitate a scrivermi!:)
